The SAGE Storefront Grant Program provides matching grants to eligible businesses located within the TIRZ #11 boundary and the SAGE service area. The program supports exterior improvements that enhance the visual appeal, accessibility, and economic vitality of commercial corridors.
By investing in storefront improvements, the program helps strengthen Eastside business districts, attract customers, encourage private investment, and contribute to the continued revitalization of San Antonio’s Eastside.

Grant funds are awarded on a reimbursement basis after project completion and verification
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed at the close of each quarter.
SAGE makes reasonable efforts to complete initial completeness and eligibility review within 30 days following the close of the quarterly intake period.
Grant funds are distributed on a reimbursement basis only.
After completing the approved project, recipients must submit:
SAGE may conduct a site visit before reimbursement is processed. Reimbursement is generally processed within 90 days of project completion and verification.
