A Spooktacular Celebration at Wheatley Heights

This year, Halloween took place at the Wheatley Heights Sports Complex, and it was truly a celebration to remember. Families from across the Eastside gathered for an afternoon filled with costumes, community, and connection.
Community Leadership Shines

We were honored to welcome Councilman Jalen McKee Rodriguez, who represents District 2, along with his family. It was a special moment to see community leadership present and engaged. Our CEO also had the opportunity to connect with Councilman McKee Rodriguez and his family during the festivities, highlighting the strong partnerships that continue to support growth and vibrancy on the Eastside.
Rodeo Fun and Fall Festivities

One of the highlights of the day was the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo experience, where families and children had the chance to interact with the horses up close. There’s something magical about seeing little ones light up as they pet and meet animals for the first time. It brought a true Texas touch to our HalloEast event.
Classic Cars and Community Pride

The car show added another exciting layer to the event. Community members proudly showcased their vehicles, giving attendees the opportunity to admire the craftsmanship, creativity, and care that went into each one. It was more than a display of cars; it was a display of pride and passion.
Earn A Bike Raffle

A huge thank you goes to Earn-A-Bike for hosting a bike raffle and generously giving away bicycles to youth in our community. Seeing children receive bikes and ride away with smiles was one of the most heartwarming moments of the day. Acts of generosity like this make a lasting impact.
San Antonio Zoo Bring the Wild Side of HalloEast

In the spirit of HalloEast, the San Antonio Zoo brought some of their more mysterious and “creepy” animal friends, including a snake that definitely caught everyone’s attention. It was an educational and exciting experience for attendees of all ages, adding just the right amount of spooky fun to the day.
Thank You to Our Volunteers and Community

Events like this would not be possible without the dedication of our volunteers and the families who show up and support community initiatives. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this Halloween celebration such a success.
To our volunteers, thank you for your time, your energy, and your heart.
To our community, thank you for showing up and celebrating with us.
